Princess Leonor’s Military Training: What You Need to Know

The Hidden Truth

Why Princess Leonor Isn’t Doing Hand-to-Hand Combat in Military Training

For eight months now, Princess Leonor of Spain has been at the Military Academy of Zaragoza for her military training, something she needs to do as the future queen.

During this time, Leonor has been doing various military activities and has been doing really well.

Military training of Princess Leonor since August 2023.

Her teachers have praised her a lot, saying she’s doing exceptionally well as a student.

According to sources close to the Military Academy, Leonor has gone above and beyond what was expected of her.

She’s been involved in different training exercises like platoon drills, rifle practice, and even helicopter training.

We’ve also heard about how good she is at horseback riding.

But the part she’s excelling in the most is the classroom stuff, though she’s also doing well physically.

Are They Treating Princess Eleanor Differently From the Rest?

Being the future queen, there were always questions about whether she’d be treated differently at the Military Academy.

And it seems she is, to some extent.

“She’s going to be the queen, so she’ll always be treated a bit differently,” say insiders at the Military Academy.

But there’s one big thing she’s not doing: hand-to-hand combat training.

Even though she’s learning the basics, she’s not getting the same training as the other students.

According to a Spanish news site, Princess Leonor won’t be taking part in the close combat training.

This means she’s not practicing fighting up close like the others.

Instead, she’ll watch her classmates do it.

Her training is more about learning how to put together weapons and equipment quickly.

In about two months, she’ll finish her time in Zaragoza.

According to the academy’s schedule, final exams will be from May 11 to 24.

Then there’s a two-week training period for everyone, which ends on June 7.

Finally, on June 19, there’s a closing ceremony where King Felipe and Queen Letizia are expected to attend.

After that, Leonor will take a break in Palma de Mallorca before starting her military training again, this time in Marin (Pontevedra).
