U.S. Congressman Rick Scott has previously spoken out about the fate of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, demanding action on more than one occasion. Just days before, Scott called for the release of U.S. hostages being held by the Maduro government, reinforcing his stance against the Venezuelan regime.
Maduro: “An Open Threat”
Scott stated that Maduro not only endangers Venezuela but is also openly threatening the United States.
“Maduro is a dangerous and deranged adversary who is openly threatening the United States and willing to do anything to stay in power,” the congressman said.
The Solution: Maduro Must Go
Scott emphasized that the only solution to restore freedom in Venezuela is for Maduro to leave office.
“He only cares about enriching himself and his henchmen; he must leave power to bring freedom to Venezuela,” he declared.
A Call to Action: The “STOP MADURO Act”
To achieve this goal, Scott urged the U.S. Congress to approve his proposed legislation, the “STOP MADURO Act”.
