Shakira managed to perform this Monday at the National Stadium of Lima, after canceling her Sunday concert due to a severe abdominal pain. Uncertainty about her Monday performance lingered until the last moment, as the singer did not officially confirm whether she would go on stage.
However, on her Instagram account, she left hints that she would indeed sing for her Peruvian audience.

Through videos shared in her Instagram stories, the artist showcased moments from the concert, including her performance of ‘La Monotonía’. Additionally, she shared posts from fans who attended the event, which, just like in Brazil, managed to completely fill the stadium.
During the show, Shakira could not hide her excitement and expressed her happiness about returning to Peru after so long.
“You have no idea how excited I was to be here. I really wanted to come back to Peru! 14 years without seeing you. This is a dream. Thank you all for your messages of affection since yesterday, for the strength you have given me. I am here today because of you. Thank you for supporting me.”, said the singer in a video posted on her social media.
Furthermore, her show was accompanied by an impressive light show and visual effects, something that has become a signature of her tour.

New Date for the Postponed Concert
