Shocking Footage: Delta Airlines Jet Crashes on Landing at Toronto Pearson Airport

A Delta Air Lines plane with 80 people on board suffered an accident while landing at Toronto Pearson International Airport, Canada. The incident occurred on Monday afternoon, leaving 18 people injured.

Flight Origin and Accident Circumstances

The CRJ900 flight, operated by Endeavor Air with a Bombardier aircraft, was coming from Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is still unclear what caused the accident or why the plane ended up with its wings severed.

“It is too early to speculate. What we can say is that the runway was dry and there were no strong winds,” explained Todd Aitken, the airport’s fire chief.

Condition of the Injured

In this first clip, one of the passengers on board the plane managed to record the moment of the evacuation.

Among the injured, three people remain hospitalized in serious condition. “A child suffered serious injuries, as did a man in his 60s and a woman in her 40s,” reported a spokesperson from the Ornge emergency service.

Reactions and Incident Videos

Ontario Premier Doug Ford expressed his relief that there were no fatalities and assured that authorities are providing support to those affected.

Meanwhile, attention is focused on the causes of the accident and how the aircraft was reduced to almost just its fuselage. Shocking videos on social media show the moment when the plane lands abruptly, loses its landing gear, and goes out of control, engulfed in flames.

In one of the recordings, the aircraft can be seen spinning several times on the runway until its wings detach. The crash, which occurred amid a snowy landscape, left a large column of black smoke and fire standing out against the white snow.
